Recycled Guitar String Antique Bronze Cufflinks Gift For Men – Rock n’ roll cufflinks made from the recycled strings of a 6 string guitar.

There can often be an emotional attachment between guitar players and their strings. When it’s time to change them, you can’t help but dread the process hoping that the young shiny six live up to the resonance and tones of your old faithful ones. Putting your old wires into retirement can seem a little unfair, they may have served you well and shared some pretty intimate moments. But every guitar player know when it is time.

When my husband changed the strings on his 6 string guitar, I wanted to see these intricate wires given a new purpose. I love how the strings line up together, a little corroded here and there from good use.

I’ve embedded 12 bars of recycled guitar string wire in each cufflink square and sealed with a crystal clear resin. Each antique bronze cuff link base (lead free and nickel free) measures 1.7 cm x 1.7 cm and has been aged to add to that rock n’ roll grunge style.

The cufflinks I make are totally dependent on what I am able to salvage at the time so each pair is unique and may vary slightly from the picture shown.
