An updated re-working of my original Traditional Bast Mask design, with bolder gold details, a traditional “Wadjet” eye, and optional brass earrings.

This is a handmade leather mask based on the traditional depiction of Bast (or Bastet), the cat-faced goddess of ancient Egypt. It is made entirely from one piece of 8oz leather, hand carved and shaped without molds or forms, then dyed and painted with colorfast acrylics in bright gold and black. The mask is sealed with a clear-coat acrylic, is water resistant, and safe to wear in any weather.

The mask comes fitted with a sturdy round satin cord and sliding cord clasp, for comfortable completely adjustable wearing.

You can choose the option to add brass loop “earrings” to her ears for an additional $5
