This large brimmed, curly topped, ombre Witch’s hat is hand felted from 4 shades Merino wool. From bottom to top, it moves from dark willow green, through olive to light spring green. The brim is bound in fig colored dupioni silk which also comprises the band around the base of the crown. The brim is approximately 18 to 20 inches across. Bear in mind that these are hand felted, so each one will be unique. Your hat will not look exactly like the one pictured but will be equally fabulous. You can request some specifics such as approximate curlicue length and brim width.

Our hats now come with adjustable bands but we like to get your head measurement just to make sure you get the proper fit.
How to measure your head: Use a soft measuring tape and measure around the middle of your forehead above the ears, and at the tightness you are comfortable with.

Fun fact:This hat starts out around 4 feet wide and 3 feet tall at the beginning of the felting process.It shrinks around 40% before it is blocked, cut and finished.

The nature of hand felted wool means that there are many variables that are more or less difficult to control.Your hat will not look ‘exactly’ like the one pictured but will be as near a duplicate as possible.
