This is a gorgeous genuine mink fur hat, made some time between the 1960’s and 1980’s (my guess with the label is towards the 80’s).
Mitzi Lorenz was a famous milliner who had an very successful business in England. This gorgeous mink fur hat is one of her many fantastic creations, ready to once more grace someone’s head either in costume, filming and photography, reenactment or in a collection.

It is made from a high quality palomino mink pelt, with no fur loss or flaws. It features three leather wrapped rings and a leather V attached to the top ring. One of the leather V sides is coming loose from the fur and needs a stitch or two.

The leather adornments and the inside lining are both worn with marks on them, hence a lower price – this hat needs a little restoration work. It has the original Mitzi Lorenz label. Please see the photos carefully.

The inside rim measures approximately 21 1/2” or 55cm.
