The handmade Belgium/Belgique coin cufflinks are made out of original pre-Euro 50 centimes coins, with a picture of a crown and year of choice.

|BELGIUM/BELGIQUE|
Belgium is home to two linguistic groups: the Flemish group who speak Dutch and the French-speaking group who speak…French! The language of both groups were used on the coins, so the coin will say either ‘Belgie’ (= Dutch) or ‘Belgique’ (= French).

Most coins and years are available in both names, but not available are:
50 centimes with ‘Belgium’ in year: 1955 – 1959 – 1960 – 1961 – 1984 – 1986 – 1989 – 1990 – 1995 – 1997
50 centimes with ‘Belgique’ in year: 1954 – 1956 – 1960 – 1961 – 1963 – 1984 – 1986 – 1989 – 1990 – 1995 – 1997
