These cuff links honor one of the greatest, some would argue THE greatest, Cherokee chief. He served the tribe most of his life, re-elected as Chief for nearly 40 years. His guidance steered the Cherokee Nation during its most dangerous times, through the Trail of Tears, the Cherokee Nation’s own civil war and through the US Civil War. He negotiated with every US President from Andrew Jackson to Abraham Lincoln. He was as comfortable walking the halls of the White House as he was riding horseback through the hills of the Cherokee Nation.

These cuff links are thoroughly modern in form and function yet steeped in ancient Cherokee culture. Mussel shell, a staple component of Cherokee traditional art, is formed into polished cabochons to create deep pools reflecting silver, gray, purple and green. The cabochons are attached to a copper base that features a swivel bar for easy on and off.

Each cuff link measures 3/4 inches wide and about 1 inch long. You will receive one pair of cuff links.
