epic armoury, mempo black, 100105
Silence. Perfect silence.
You use the silence as a cloak of armor, masked in the darkness using your Mempo, waiting for the perfect opportunity. You prepare your throwing knives, ready to launch your deadly attack when the lord finally comes out of the donjon. A quick movement of your wrist and the gentleman exhales his last breath, your knife touches his mark… and you disappear, leaving their guards bewildered and frightened.
Details
Epic Armoury’s Mempo is a leather half-mask inspired by the early Asian soldiers. This mask protects the face from the bridge of the nose to the chin. Four ventilation crevices ensure good airflow through the mouth of the mask, designed to be worn comfortably for long periods of time. Attach the mask to your face by tying two long cotton cords around the head.
The Epic Armoury’s Mempo is made from 3mm thick vegetable tanned volnerfleder and is designed to add a great layer to your fantasy or historical costume. With the best quality materials, this mask is built to withstand extensive abuse with regular leather care.
Available in black, brown and red.

Maintenance
Natural leather products are very durable, but require regular maintenance with leather care products to stay flexible and extend life. Make sure your leather products stay dry when they are stored. Allow wet leather to dry naturally before treating it. If the leather is often wet and dry, increase the maintenance frequency.
Cleaning
Clean by removing dirt with a hard brush, then gently rub the leather soap with a clean, damp cloth until the leather looks clean. Remove the soap with a separate damp cloth to wipe away any soap residue, then use a dry cloth to wipe any remaining water off the leather.
Conditions
You should always condition the leather after cleansing, as the soap has removed some of the natural oils. Treat the leather with muld oil, olive oil or beeswax polish with a clean cloth, gently rubbing a small amount of oil into the leather or polishing it in circles. Soak the leather in the oil before wiping the leather with a final clean cloth to remove excess residue.
